We are U. We hold graduate and professional degrees from major universities Princeton, Stanford, UCLA,Georgetown, Dartmouth, Penn, Northwestern. This is all that we do. Address: Office 10, Level 1, Sharjah Media City, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates P. We read some amazing books…. More so in my past, reading and writing was a huge thing for me. During middle school and my first two years in high school, I was on a reading and writing rampage. Even though I had access to book and other resources before middle school, middle school was when I really started to entertain the idea of reading.

I became a library media assistant in middle school and that opened up a whole new world to me. Initially, I became one because I was bored and needed something else to do besides go to school and back home. At this point I was getting tired of the FCAT and I had to pass it the next…. However, it was not the best. This added to my shyness, which I struggled with as well. In elementary school, I found a love for learning, especially history, and I took countless trips to the school library. In the library, I would find a pleasant place to sit and find an interesting book to read.

I, constantly read fact books, working to memorize countless amounts of facts. As my reading levels start to progress over the years I can relate to Rodriquez and Welty experiences because being in reading class was like I was forced to read and I have learned to love books and understand the concepts. I mostly read at school. I started reading around the age of three or four years old. Once a year we would take a placement test to see which reading level we were at, which corresponded to a colored sticker that each book had. When it came to reading I generally leaned towards pieces that were adventurous or mysterious, even if the selection was more advanced than my suggested reading level.

There was a seating area in the library that almost looked like a miniature amphitheater that I would get comfortable in to read my novel. The Magic Tree House books were always my favorites because of the constant adventure. My craving for figuring out what was going to happen next kept me reading and excited me most. After she was done reading to us she let us check out books to write book reports so after picking out my books I ran home to begin reading and writing the book reports. When school started later that year I was placed in a remedial reading class which helped me to learn to read better. Once teachers started to stress the importance of neat handwriting, I worked very hard at making every single letter perfect as I wrote.

Until high school, I considered myself to be a very slow reader and I was always the last one to finish a test. This made me very insecure and embarrassed throughout my schooling, but I also think that it pushed me to work harder at finishing my tests quicker. I started to occasionally read in my free time during middle school. I always enjoyed reading series of books as a teenager, but now I enjoy reading books by the same author one after the other. I would read books at home, in class, and during a break. Middle school allowed students more freedom in which books they chose to read. Teachers and librarians encouraged students to read above their book level range.

In contrast, my elementary school would tell students to read inside of their book level. Home Flashcards Create Flashcards Essays Essay Topics Writing Tool. Essays Essays FlashCards. Browse Essays. Sign in.
